These Terms & Conditions and Legal Disclosure (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by 24 Hour Marriage LA (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking, scheduling, or receiving services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

24 Hour Marriage LA provides private, same-day marriage services in California, including coordination, document workflow assistance, and lawful solemnization of marriages when eligibility requirements are met.

Services may include:

• Identity verification and eligibility screening
   
• Assistance with the confidential marriage license workflow when permitted
   
• Performance of a lawful marriage ceremony by an authorized officiant
   
• Proper completion and routing of marriage documentation for county recording
   
• General information regarding proof of marriage and certified copies
   

24 Hour Marriage LA is not a government agency and does not replace the County Clerk or Re

In California, a Notary Public does not automatically have authority to marry couples.

24 Hour Marriage LA works with:

• Commissioned California Notary Publics who are separately authorized by a County Clerk/Recorder as Deputy Commissioners of Civil Marriages (or similar county-delegated roles) where applicable, and/or
   
• Ordained ministers/officiants authorized under California law to solemnize marriages
   

Any authority exercised is county-specific, scope-limited, and governed by California law.

To receive services, both parties must meet all legal requirements, including but not limited to:

• Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for both parties
   
• Both parties must be coherent enough to understand the marriage, answer basic questions, and freely consent
   
• Any prior marriages must be legally terminated
   
• Eligibility requirements for a confidential marriage license, if applicable
   

If eligibility cannot be confirmed, services may be refused, paused, or rescheduled without liability.

Marriage requires informed, voluntary consent.

If, in the professional judgment of the officiant or notary:

• Either party cannot demonstrate understanding,
   
• Appears impaired, coerced, or unable to consent, or
   
• Cannot comply with identification or eligibility requirements,
   

The service will not proceed.

Services may include:

• In-office same-day marriage appointments
   
• Mobile services at a private location (home, venue, beach, hospital, or care facility where permitted)
   

Mobile services are subject to:

• Location access and facility rules
   
• Safety, legality, and availability
   
• Venue or facility approval (including hospitals or care facilities)

Many couples complete the license and ceremony in a single appointment; however:

• Same-day completion is not guaranteed
   
• County rules, eligibility issues, document accuracy, or consent concerns may delay or prevent completion
   

No guarantees are made regarding timing outside the Company’s direct control.

All officiants and notaries providing services are independent contractors, not employees.

• Contractors operate under their own professional commissions or credentials
   
• Contractors do not own, control, or manage 24 Hour Marriage LA
   
• No partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship is created
   

Contractors may accept or decline assignments based on legality, availability, and professional obligations.

Any chapel or ceremony space used is independently owned and operated by third parties.

Venue policies may govern:

• Guest limits
   
• Photography or video rules
   
• Access, parking, security, and timing
   
• Noise, decor, or conduct restrictions
   

Clients agree to comply with all venue rules.

• Marriage records are filed with the appropriate county per official procedures
   
• Certified copies are issued by the county, not by 24 Hour Marriage LA
   
• County processing timelines vary and are outside Company control
   

The Company does not guarantee recording speed or certified copy issuance dates.

“Proof of marriage” may include:

• The completed marriage license documentation
   
• County-issued certified copies (once available)
   

We provide general explanations only. Acceptance of proof is determined by third parties (employers, banks, immigration agencies, foreign governments, etc.).

If a marriage certificate will be used internationally:

• Apostille or legalization may be required after certified copies are issued
   
• Apostille services are handled separately and are subject to government processing timelines
   

We do not guarantee international acceptance of documents.

• Information provided is for general informational purposes only
   
• No legal, immigration, tax, HR, or benefits advice is provided
   
• No attorney-client relationship is created

Clients are solely responsible for:

• Correct spelling of names
   
• Accurate personal information

The Company is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect client-provided information.

Any third-party services or links are provided for convenience only.

• No endorsement is implied
   
• Third parties control their own availability, pricing, and policies
   

24 Hour Marriage LA reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

• Legal requirements are not met
   
• Consent cannot be confirmed
   
• Safety or compliance concerns arise
   

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Company is not liable for government delays, venue issues, shipping delays, or third-party failures
   
• Liability is limited to the amount paid for services
   
• No indirect, incidental, or consequential damages are assumed
   

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

By booking or receiving services, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms
   
• You meet all eligibility requirements
   
• You voluntarily consent to the marriage process
